What we collect
Only what you give us. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address. When you write to us via the contact form, we store the name, email, subject, and message you submit. That's it. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no behavioural profiles, no third-party cookies.
Why we collect it
Email addresses are used to send you the things you asked for: dispatches from the community of practice, replies to your questions, and notes about events. Contact-form submissions are read by a person and used to respond to you.
Where it lives
Submissions are stored encrypted in transit and at rest with our hosting provider (Netlify). Newsletter email addresses are additionally copied to a Google Sheet hosted on Google Workspace, accessible only to us, so we can manage the list. We do not sell, lease, license, or share your data with advertisers, brokers, or affiliated companies.
How long we keep it
We keep your email on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are retained for as long as is useful to continue the conversation, then archived. You can ask us to delete anything at any time.
Your rights
Write to us at jordan@thinkhumane.com to access, correct, export, or delete any data we hold about you. We will action your request within 14 days and reply when it is complete.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies. The only state we keep in your browser is what your browser needs to load the page. If that ever changes, this section will be updated and you will see a clear notice on first visit.
Children
ThinkHumane is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes in any material way, we will revise the date below and send a notice to existing newsletter subscribers describing what changed and why.
